Samuel Cartaxo is graduated and holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering. He is a professor of heat exchangers and process modeling and simulation courses at the Federal University of Ceara, in Brazil, for several years, and has specialized in process heat transfer. Before that, he worked in project engineering evaluations at the Northeast Bank of Brazil. His areas of interest center on industrial heat transfer, engineering software and engineering education, in which fields he has published works in a number of scientific journals.
